TIP Project #2023-86-6666: Regional Active Transportation Program

4-years of program funds for regional bicycle and pedestrian planning and coordination activities, AND active transportation projects to be awarded through competitive call-for-projects following TIP adoption. Projects must advance regional initiatives to improve the availability, safety, and convenience of active forms of transportation. Funding could be used to implement a stand-alone project or supplement an existing project to ensure the inclusion of non-motorized modes (e.g., adding sidewalks to a road widening project).

This amendment removes $1,671,453 in federal M-STBG funds to be shifted onto TIP ID #2011-41-144.4/02/2026
This amendment shifts $1,802,947.75 of FY 23 U-TAP funds to TIP ID# 2022-76-155; 2018-26-082; & 202-17-108 to cover funding shortfalls. Additionally, $1,084,211 of FY 23 U-TAP will be flexed to Nashville MTA TIP ID# 2011-15-133 and FTA TIP ID# 2015-65-060 to allow them to address TAP eligible programs. The movement of $2,887,158.75 of U-TAP will prevent the GNRC TAP funds from lapsing at the end of FY 257/10/2025
