TIP Project #2023-15-178: Southeast Transit Center

This project will support the construction of the Southeast Transit Center at the Global Mall at the Crossing in Nashville. The project takes advantage of a unique opportunity to cooperate with Metro-Nashville Government in the redevelopment/repurposing of a former regional mall as a major arts/healthcare/educational/community complex. The transit center will be a key mobility component of the repurposing of the site that will expand access to and across the area for people of all abilities. The Southeast Transit Center is the southern terminus of WeGo’s highest ridership route. It is located in a Qualified Opportunity Zone in a majority-minority community and will serve Historically Disadvantaged Areas.
