TIP Project #2023-85-5555: Regional Transportation Technologies Program

Regional set-aside of suballocated STBG funds to identify and deploy technologies that improve transportation planning and performance monitoring, communication with travelers, traveler safety and security, system management and operations, system maintenance, system accessibility for area roadway and transit networks. Funds will be awarded through competitive call-for-projects following plan adoption or through periodic TIP amendments intended to address cost overruns on ongoing technology focused projects. Funding can be used to implement a stand-alone project or supplement an existing project to ensure the inclusion of technology. Funds can be used for planning or implementation.
