TIP Project #2004-005: Jefferson Street Intersections

Construction of intersection improvements along Jefferson Street, including turn lanes, decorative signals, cross walks, road widening, and increased turn radii. The planned improvements are proposed for the 1) 28th Avenue/ Ed Temple, and 2) 21st Avenue North intersections along Jefferson Street.

12/18/12 - The following will be required to construct new signals, additional thru lanes and turn lanes at these intersections. Survey and preliminary engineering design options. The options will provide potential impacts to the existing property owners and utility infrastructure. Engineering design plans, construction documents, and cost estimates. Obtain necessary construction permits and environmental permits. Obtain necessary right of way and easements for the proposed widening of the intersection for additional thru and turn lanes. Assemble bid documents and specifications. Monitor project during construction to insure construction activities are incompliance to the construction documents and specifications. Provide as-built drawings of the proposed improvements. Final Deliverables/Product - The proposed intersection improvements along Jefferson Street will consist of new signals heads and poles, decorative crosswalks, road widening for additional thru lanes and increased turn radius. All construction will be performed incompliance with AASHTO and ADA standards. 12/18/2012
