5309 funds were allocated to MTA as part of FTA’s State of Good Repair funding awarded to TDOT in December 2012 for the replacement of transit vehicles that have exceeded their useful life.	6/26/2013

The 5307 funds were awarded to MTA as part of FTA’s Clean Fuels Grant Program and are specifically for the purchase of new zero emissions electric buses and installation of an electric charging station at Riverfront Station in downtown Nashville.	12/12/2012
